Jeff Jones, founding director at TCMS in 2008, began the service with a vision of providing efficient, dependable, and economical service in the Tri City area. A native of Harlan, Kentucky, he grew up in the family's funeral business and learned about taking care of folks from his father, Dukie Jones, a prominent and respected funeral director who passed away in 1999. The family firm is still in operation today, with his brother John serving families just as their father would expect. 

Jeff is a 1985 graduate of Harlan High School and 1986 graduate of Mid America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In 1996, he met and married his wife and best friend Penny. They have three children (Whitnie, Hunter, and Noah) and four grandchildren (John, Emma, Avie, and Mollie). In his spare time, he enjoys being with family, watching "the kids" in sporting events and -- when the weather allows — spending time at South Holston Lake.
